For complete beginners -  perfect for anyone who has recently purchased a sewing machine and would like to develop confidence / understanding with some of the basic functions.
Or you're thinking about taking the leap and buying a machine, this is the perfect introduction.
 
During this 3 Session short course you will be introduced to using your sewing machine by completing 2 easy projects to get your sewing journey started.
Each session is 2 hours so that you can really develop your sewing skills.
 
Session 1 - Duration 2 Hours:
Introduction to the sewing machine, threading, bobbin winding, sewing machine functions.
Introduction to straight / curved and how to pivot.
Securing your stitching and top stitching.
 
Session 2 - Duration 2 Hours:
Envelope cushion cover
 
Session 3 - Duration 2 Hours:
Apron with pocket and tie fastening
 
You will need to bring your own fabric. A full materials list will be provided upon booking. You will need access to a sewing machine and general sewing equipment. We will provide the pattern pieces and all the guidance you will need.
 
Need to hire a Sewing Machine? You can hire from us. Just let us know before your session so that we can get it set up for you.
 
 
By selecting "Book Now - Date to be Confirmed" option, you will receive an email from us within 48 hours of booking to arrange your 1st Session.
Please reply to our email with your availability. We will then check our availability and add your session to our calendar.
Once date and time is agreed, you will receive a Confirmation Email with all the information regarding your 1st Session.
